Disaster Flood Relief for Kankakee and Iroquois County

Kankakee Illinois February 25, 2018— Flooding has impacted countless homes and businesses within Kankakee and Iroquois County leaving many displaced and facing significant loss. The Kankakee Area Jaycees is organizing emergency relief to help provide needed supplies.

Monetary donations are being accepted via check and PayPal. Jaycee Amber Cahue is working closely with task force leaders in the impacted areas to collect a list of needed items. The funds collected will be used to meet the needs of the flood victims and provide things such as cleaning supplies, safety items, general supplies, dry goods, water pumps, sandbags, secure transportation, canned goods, pet supplies and meals for those in shelters and volunteers. The goal is to be able to provide funds to secure what is needed as the need arrives.

Checks can be made out to Kankakee Area Jaycees, with the memo “Flood Relief.”
