Disaster Flood Relief for Kankakee and Iroquois County


Kankakee Illinois February 23. 2018— Flooding has impacted countless homes and businesses within Kankakee and Iroquois County leaving many displaced and facing significant loss. The Kankakee Area Jaycees is organizing emergency relief to help provide needed supplies.

At the time of release, the following supplies are being collected.
Rain boots, paper towels. dry goods, canned goods, sandbags, totes for storage, life jackets, fans, bleach, rubber gloves, canoes, bottled water, dog food, cat food, animal crates, extension cords and other general supplies. Gift cards for funds to purchase pumps are also welcome, as are meals for those who are in shelters.
